Days after the AIADMK filed a complaint with the Election Commission that the DMK had set up 48 “voter restraint shelters” in various parts of Karur constituency, former minister and sitting MLA V. Senthilbalaji on Sunday dismissed the allegation as malicious propaganda to undermine the party’s election campaign.
He told reporters that setting up party offices in each ward of Karur is a routine matter. Election offices would be opened in rented buildings depending on the situation. If permanent buildings were not available, temporary structures were generally set up to house party offices.
