A three-year-old girl was mowed down by a truck near Hanumanthegowdanapalya on the northwest outskirts of Bengaluru on Saturday while she was walking with her mother to a nearby temple.
According to the police, the impact of the accident was so strong that it crushed the girl’s head and she died on the spot. Her mother Lavanya, who was carrying the 11-month-old baby on her hip, had a narrow escape, police said.
