
The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), Andhra Pradesh has invited applications from registered educational societies and trusts for setting up 12 new private unaided secondary schools for the academic year 2026-27.
The 12 mandals earmarked for starting new junior schools are Yadiki in Anantapur district, Vetapalem in Bapatla, Rangampeta in East Godavari, Devanakonda in Kurnool, Chandarlapadu in NTR district, Nadendla in Palnadu, Rentachintala also in Palnadu, Kurichedu, Pedaracherudas in Manaveedu district and Pullasa in Manamansu. Srikakulam District and Mogalthur in West Godavari District.
In a statement, BIE Secretary P. Ranjit Basha said that the management should upload the prescribed Form-I application online for setting up a new private junior school without the help of the official website (APBIE from March 23, 2026.
He said that the inspection team should download the BIE Geo-Tagging application on their smartphone according to the link given in the application and download the photos of the college building, classrooms, laboratories, library, playground, etc. and send the inspection report using this application.
He said that BIE will thoroughly verify all applications with geo-tagged images/locations and after fulfilling all conditions/norms, temporary permit and provisional affiliation will be issued on submission of fixed deposit certificate, teaching staff details and declaration of commencement of new private unaided college.
The last date for submission of online application, uploading of required documents and geo-tagging of images was 6th April 2026, he informed and clarified that the board will not entertain any concessions, extensions of time, conditional permits or requests for recognition under any circumstances.
