
A late night incident involving a high-end supercar on one of the busiest roads in Bengaluru has drawn a huge number of unseen people on the internet after a video of the act went viral. The widely shared clip shows that the Lamborghini is said to be worth it ₹5.7 million – Repeated execution of ‘doughnuts’ on MG Road near the flyover even though other vehicles were passing through the area. Risky maneuvers at a public intersection have raised serious safety concerns for continued traffic.
The footage was originally posted by a social media user who alerted Bengaluru traffic authorities. The user claimed that the vehicle with registration number KA 05 NR 0009 was seen spinning in circles several times, emitting smoke from its tires and endangering nearby motorists.
Tagging the Bengaluru police and calling for action against the driver, the user wrote: “Video from last night in Bengaluru. Lamborghini KA 05 NR 0009 was repeatedly seen doing donuts at a public intersection under a flyover while other vehicles were present, posing a safety hazard. @blrcitytraffic @BlrCityPolice take action if necessary, please watch.”
What did the police officials say?
According to a Deccan Herald (DH) report, police officials said the driver took two rounds of the intersection and performed stunts, adding that they were also seen climbing out of the sunroof and shouting.
“Reckless operation of vehicles on public roads is a non-negotiable violation of the law,” the head of the traffic police told DH. “The FIR has been registered under sections relating to rash and negligent driving and endangering human life.
Police crack down on stunt riders at KR Pura
Meanwhile, on Tuesday evening, Bengaluru Traffic Police charged 22 men for performing stunts on bikes to celebrate Shab-e-Qadar within KR Pura limits.
According to a Times of India report, individuals were performing stunts at Medahalli and Bhattarahalli junctions. Based on the alert, plainclothes police officers were deployed to the locations. Once the riders gathered and started performing stunts, they were arrested and their two-wheelers confiscated.
