
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was welcomed by Chittoor MP Daggumalla Prasada Rao on his arrival at Tirupati Airport on Friday.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu arrived at Tirumala, the holy abode of Lord Venkateswara, on Friday evening on a two-day visit to schedule prayers and inaugurate key infrastructural facilities aimed at boosting pilgrim services.
On arrival at Gayatri Sadan Rest Home, Mr. Naidu was warmly welcomed by TTD Chairman BR Naidu, Managing Director M. Ravichandra, Additional Managing Director Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, along with other district and senior officials.
Mr. Naidu, who will stay overnight in the hills, is scheduled to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara in the early hours of Saturday, followed by a visit to the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Nitya Annadanam complex, where he will personally serve breakfast and interact with the pilgrims, underscoring the government’s emphasis on service and outreach.
As part of the itinerary, the Chief Minister will also inspect the state-of-the-art Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC), a key initiative aimed at strengthening surveillance, crowd management and overall management of the temple.
The Chief Minister is also scheduled to open a Water and Food Analysis Laboratory and a State Food Laboratory set up in collaboration with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), a major step to ensure quality and safety of food and water services for devotees.
After completing his tour, he will later motor down to Renigunta Airport and leave for Hyderabad.
