
Industries and Food Processing Minister TG Bharath said on Friday (March 20) that the NDA government has committed to create 20,000 jobs over five years.
After releasing the annual job calendar here, the minister said 10,060 government jobs have been announced as a Ugadan youth initiative. Mr. Bharath said the government would continue to release the job calendar every year and fill the vacancies in phases. He claimed that the election promise of creating 20 million jobs would be fulfilled.
The minister added that efforts are underway to attract industries to the state under the leadership of the chief minister with a focus on increasing employment and accelerating economic growth through public recruitment and private investment.
