The President attended the installation of Shri Ram Yantra at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir on Thursday (March 19, 2026), the first day of Chaitra Navratri. Being here on the inaugural day of Navratri is truly a blessed moment. Dates commemorating the Bhoomi Pujan of the highly revered Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, the Pran Pratishtha of the divine Ram Lalla idol at the site, the inauguration of the Ram Darbar for the devotees and the hoisting of the religious flag on the temple tower are significant milestones in our history and culture,” she said.

She emphasized that the ideal of Ram Rajya represents the pinnacle of economic prosperity and social harmony. “Numerous examples from Prabhu Shri Ram’s life illustrate the principle of adopting a comprehensive and inclusive approach to life. By adopting the principles of Ram Rajya, we can build a nation based on morality and ethical conduct,” she added.
Ms. Murmu also said that the spiritual ideas of the great land of Ayodhya were no longer confined to the temple town but spread all over the country. She said that the consecration at Ayodhya was a consecration of India’s spiritual power and that the present generation was fortunate to witness this historic moment with their own eyes.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the consecration of Shri Ram Yantra has filled every follower of Sanatan Dharma and every true Indian with immense joy. “Under the guidance and direction of the Prime Minister, the Bhoomi Pujan for the establishment of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, the Pran-Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla, the installation of the holy idols of the Ram Darbar, the hoisting of the flag and now the consecration of the Shri Ram Yantra, that every Dhar Ram Yantra will evoke deep happiness in Santan. reflects the deep-rooted faith of India.
Hitting out at the opposition parties for disrespecting Lord Ram, the Chief Minister claimed that the faith was insulted by being labeled as a blind faith.
“Individuals who despised this belief refrained from traveling to Noida to preserve their power, but did not see it as an act of unreasonable faith. In contrast, the discussions about Ram Mandir, Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Krishna-Kanhaiya of Mathura-Vrindavan were considered superstitions. This belief, challenges, did not remain unchanged even after 50 years. he neither surrendered nor broke, he finally won and today Ayodhya is presented to the world in its present state,” Mr. Adityanath said, calling the Ram Temple a symbol of India’s civilizational consciousness.
