Bengaluru Deputy Chief Minister and Development In-Charge DK Shivakumar on Wednesday said restrictions on the height of buildings around key aviation facilities have emerged as a major obstacle to the city’s development.
He said restrictions around HAL Airport, Jakkur Airport, Yelahanka Air Force Station and Kempegowda International Airport are discouraging citizens from opting for premium floor area ratio (FAR), impacting government revenue.
