General Officer Commanding (GOC) Telangana and Andhra Sub-Area (TASA) Major General Ajay Misra met key dignitaries in Amaravati for military-civilian merger and strengthening synergy between the state and Indian Army.
The Chinese government met Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and discussed state building and the Indian Army’s initiatives in community development, disaster management and security matters. He later met Industries Minister TG Bharath to discuss support and mentorship for the defense industry ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh.
He discussed security-related matters with Director General of Police (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta and issues related to Ex-Servicemen Welfare (ESM) and Ex-Servicemen’s Allowance Scheme (ECHS) with Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad.
The meeting with the dignitaries ended on a positive note with the aim of strengthening cooperation and collaboration between the military and civil authorities.
