Benjamin Netanyahu continues to post amid reports of his death. Meanwhile, the internet is debating whether they are real or AI. See what he has posted in the last 24 hours.
Social media was abuzz with rumors of Benjamin Netanyahu’s death. After that, there was a debate about whether the videos posted by the Israeli Prime Minister were real or AI.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released two videos in the last 24 hours. He appears to be fending off viral rumors of his death with a mix of dark humor and combative rhetoric.

In one video, Netanyahu appeared alongside Mike Huckabee, the US ambassador to Israel. Huckabee says he was personally sent by President Donald Trump to check on him.
“Mr. Prime Minister, I wanted you to know that the president asked me to come make sure you’re OK,” Huckabee says.
Netanyahu replied simply: “Yes, Mike. I’m alive.”
The exchange gets dark quickly. Netanyahu produces what he describes as a “punch card”. He jokes that he crossed off two names that day and still has more to go.
Huckabee jokes that his own name isn’t on it, to which Netanyahu replies, “Your name is on the list of the good ones.”
The conversation then completely changes tone. Netanyahu praises President Trump and US forces for their role in the ongoing conflict.

Netanyahu says Israel and the United States stand “side by side” against enemies who want to develop nuclear weapons capable of hitting American cities.
“They won’t,” he says. “We’re erasing them.”
The second video was released a few hours ago while Israel was still waiting for the sun to rise. It is a direct message from the Prime Minister of Israel to his people.
“I’m here with the Israeli defense minister, our chief of staff, the head of the Mossad, the chief of the air force, our senior commanders. In the last 24 hours, we have taken out two terrorist chiefs, the top terrorist chiefs of this tyranny,” he says, looking into the camera.
“Our planes are hitting terrorist operatives in plots, in intersections, in squares. This is to allow the brave people of Iran to celebrate the Festival of Fire. So celebrate. And Happy Nowruz. We are watching from above,” he added.

Reaction on social networks
Some social media users believe it’s a “nice way to debunk all the fake AI claims.” However, some social media users are not convinced.
One of them pointed out “the most obvious peculiarity…the ears”.
“I’ve never met anyone with 2 ear canals before,” the user wrote sarcastically while sharing the images.
Another user shared a post from August 2025 where Benjamin Netanyahu wished Huckabee a “Happy Birthday.” The user pointed out that the US ambassador was wearing the same dress.
“At least they changed your tie color. Does Mike only have one suit and tie?” the user asked.
Another user wrote: “Yes, the muscle movement doesn’t look natural – an elderly man contracting so quickly, all of a sudden, feels more like AI than real life; such rapid, perfectly synchronized contracting is unusual and likely indicates AI editing, speed manipulation or CGI.”
“Gemini AI confidently states that this footage was taken on April 14, 2024. It also states that the people in these offices will no longer be present at this meeting today because the office holders have changed since 2024,” came another skeptic.
