Organized annually by Odanadi Seva Samsthe, an NGO working to rescue and rehabilitate trafficked and sexually exploited women and children, the ‘Yoga Stops Trafficking’ program seeks to use yoga as a humanitarian tool to build a movement against human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
On the occasion, Ms. Chaudhary extended her support to organizations like Odanadi Seva Samsthe and said programs like ‘Yoga Stops Trafficking’ should help re-emphasize society’s commitment to preventing trafficking in girls and women.
On the occasion, Ms. Chaudhary also recalled the former Maharaja of Mysore’s commitment to women’s education, equality, respect and leadership.
She also recalled the measures taken by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for the empowerment of women.
