Chittoor-based industrialist Kattamanchi Govardhan Bobby was re-elected as the South Zone President of the All India Food Processors Association (AIFPA) for a second term at its 81st National Annual Meeting held in New Delhi on Friday. The term of office is three years. After the end of the first term, Mr. Bobby was again unanimously elected by the members of the association.
Mr. Bobby is the first person from Telugu states to hold this post. Speaking to the media, he said that the association, established in 1943, represents the food industry and would take up the issues faced by the sector with the state and central governments.
