As many as 2,95,182 cases were settled in the National Lok Adalat held across the state on Saturday.
A total of 400 Lok Adalat benches were created for the exercise. Both pending and pre-trial cases were taken up and settled during the National Lok Adalat, AP State Legal Services Member and BSV Secretary Himabindu said.
Court officials also issued orders for the payment of ₹87.35 crore as compensation to the victims, Ms Himabindu said in a statement on Saturday.
