
The Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID) has organized a five-day training program on “Best Practices in Cyber Hygiene and Cyber Security” for CID officers across the state.
The training program was jointly organized by CID in association with School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCOPE) at VIT-AP University from March 10 to 14, CID Director General Ravi Shankar Ayyanar said.
Experts from research organizations and academia spoke on topics such as advanced cybercrime, cyber risk management and mitigation, basic hardware security, advanced persistent threats and real-time deepfakes, among others.
“The training program was conducted in hybrid mode in which more than 100 CID officers participated,” said Mr. Ravi Shankar Ayyanar.
