Amid mounting complaints of irregular waste collection and re-emergence of black spots on garbage, the newly formed city corporation has written to the Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML) seeking dump trucks to intensify black spot removal during the day.
The matter has also sparked discussions within the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) to transfer the task of door-to-door waste collection back to the BSWML corporators, an official part of the GBA review meeting confirmed to The Hindu.
