Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (March 11, 2026) expressed confidence that the nation will successfully manage the situation arising from the conflict in West Asia as well as the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The conflict in West Asia has affected the energy supply chain of the entire world. We believe in the ideology of India – above all. You have seen how our government protects the interests of Indians above all in any situation. Our efforts will be the same this time too,” he confirmed at a public meeting in Tiruchi.

“There is no need to panic or pay attention to rumours. Let us spread only correct and verified information,” the Prime Minister urged the people, pointing out that during the COVID pandemic, 140 million Indians showed the world how advanced the nation is. “I am equally confident that as a nation we will successfully deal with any situation,” Mr Modi said.
