“The BCCI awards ceremony will be held on March 15 in New Delhi. We will invite all the winners of the ICC tournaments, including the recent T20 World Cup champions, as well as the coaches,” Saikia said while talking to IANS.

The ceremony will recognize the winning teams from the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup, the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy and the junior teams that have triumphed on the world stage. According to Saikia, the senior women’s, boys’ under-19 and girls’ under-19 teams, who have each won ICC trophies in 2025, will also be part of the celebrations.“Apart from the senior men’s team, the senior women’s team, U19 boys and U19 girls’ team who won the trophy in 2025 will also be invited,” Saikia added.A total of five Indian teams that have won ICC titles in the past year will be felicitated during the evening.“We will also invite the members of the Champions Trophy 2025 winning team. So the five ICC trophies won by different Indian teams over the last year – all the members of those teams will be honored at the awards ceremony and it will be a great night,” Saikia said.According to the report, the venue is expected to be a five-star hotel near the airport as players from the men’s team will soon join their respective franchises ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League season which starts on March 28.
