Chennai Metro Rail has requested the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety (CCRS), New Delhi, to relax the restrictions imposed on frequency and speed on the upcoming Section II. phase from Poonamallee to Vadapalani section to be opened soon.
According to Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) officials, CCRS Janak Kumar Garg inspected this stretch a few days ago and held discussions with them.
