The CM scoffs at BRS leaders’ claims of KCR’s return to power, saying no one wants him back
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy rubbished the claims of BRS leaders that former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao had returned to power and claimed that the people had realized their false propaganda and would never allow BRS to return to power.
He launched a scathing attack on BRS working president KT Ram Rao and former minister T Harish Rao, calling them “little demons” who will leave no stone unturned in spreading misinformation about the people-centric Congress government. He took strong objection to their taunts asking him to step down from office claiming that the state is not their fiefdom to make such demands from a government elected by people who have been fed up with BRS deception for 10 years.
The Chief Minister used the meeting organized to formally start the crediting of Rythu Bharos funds to the accounts of 44.28 lakh farmers here on Tuesday. The government released ₹2,482 crore on the first day, even as Mr Revanth Reddy announced that the entire ₹9,000 crore would be credited to farmers’ accounts within nine days.
