Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Chairman A. Ravi Naidu on Monday visited international strength athlete Bollineni Chandrika, who is currently hospitalized in a private hospital in the city due to a kidney infection. He wished her a speedy recovery.
Lauding Ms. Chandrika for bringing laurels to the state, Mr. Ravi Naidu said her courage and determination serves as an inspiration to the youth. He provided financial assistance of ₹1 lakh to help her with her treatment.
Mr. Ravi Naidu said that it is the policy of the State Government to identify talented sportspersons and encourage them by providing all necessary support. There will be no shortage of help of any kind for their welfare, he added.
