A synagogue in the Belgian city of Liege was damaged by an explosion early Monday morning, Belgian station VRT reported, citing local police.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the explosion, which happened around 4:00 a.m. local time (03:00 GMT), is unknown, VRT said.
The explosion blew out the windows of the synagogue and a building across the road, the broadcaster said.
Police closed the street while a specialist counter-terrorism team investigated the incident.
