After the inauguration, a project evaluation meeting was held. Mr. Govindan also inaugurated the Karimbam Farm Tourism Project, which was implemented at an agricultural farm in Karimbam District at a cost of ₹1 billion.

Facilities created as part of the project include a stone paved walkway with railings allowing visitors to walk through the farm, seating, a dormitory and toilets. To make it more attractive, the existing entrance gate was reconstructed and an outdoor auditorium was built in the area.
The project has been planned in a way that allows visitors to understand agricultural practices through digital displays featuring agricultural experiments and demonstrations. The facility will also be able to host residential camps and related programs.
The inaugural event took place in the auditorium built as part of the project. Binoy Kurien, president of Kannur district panchayat presided.
