
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday officially inaugurated two new sections of the Delhi Metro and started work on three more lines that offer hassle-free travel to various critical locations in the capital.

the connections launched by the Prime Minister included the 12.3 km Majlis Park-Maujpur Babarpur (Pink Line) section and the 9.9 km Deepali Chowk-Majlis Park (Magenta Line) section.
These routes will serve numerous neighborhoods of Delhi such as Burari, Jagatpur-Wazirabad, Khajuri Khas, Bhajanpura, Yamuna Vihar, Madhuban Chowk, Haiderpur Badli Mor, Bhalaswa and Majlis Park.

After this debut, the Pink Line covers 71.56 kilometres, which means that the country’s inaugural complete circular metro circling major parts of Delhi is now complete, officials had earlier informed. HT.
The Deepali Chowk-Majlis Park link extends the Magenta Line to nearly 49 kilometers in total. Specifically, the Deepali Chowk-Majlis park section serves as a continuation of the Magenta Line Extension Botanical Garden-Krishna Park Extension.
The Majlis Park-Maujpur-Babarpur unit also includes a new span across the Yamuna and a two-level viaduct supporting both subway railway and overpass for vehicles.
Chief Minister of Delhi Rekha Gupta on Saturday he noted that the expansion of the rail network improves the urban transport framework. She noted that the Delhi Cabinet has emphasized public transport in the fiscal plan 2025-26.
Gupta said the venture will boost connectivity between North-East and North-West Delhi while enabling faster commuting in several areas of the capital.

Delhi Metro Phase VA
Modi laid the foundation stone for three subsequent lines under Phase VA of the Delhi Metro spanning a distance of about 16.1 km.
The three upcoming routes are RK Ashram Marg to Indraprastha, Aerocity to Indira Gandhi Airport Terminal 1 and Tughlakabad to Kalindi Kunj.
These roads will provide direct access to many vital zones in the city and increase the mobility of residents moving between Noida, South Delhi and the airport.
Residential accommodation with a swimming pool General Pool
Modi also revealed himself and construction of all businesses began ₹15,200 crore under the Union government’s General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) revival strategy. The cumulative investment for all these initiatives amounts to approx ₹33,500 million crowns.
On Sunday, Modi also inaugurated 2,722 recently constructed flats and started work on 6,632 more houses and various other projects worth ₹15,200 crore through GPRA’s Delhi Renewal Programme, as a key component of housing and construction in the capital.
The Government of India is currently rehabilitating seven old official housing estates in Delhi using a creative self-financing method that avoids any dependence on the state treasury.
The initiative covers Sarojini Nagar, Netaji Nagar, Nauroji Nagar, Kasturba Nagar, Thyagraj Nagar, Sriniwaspuri and Mohammadpur, covering roughly 537 acres.
Upon completion, the project will offer more than 21,000 modern living spaces alongside upgraded utilities and amenities.
