Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu adjourned the House for a sine die on Friday.
At the end of the meeting, the chairman presented a statistical overview of the 5th session of the 16th Legislative Assembly and informed that, with the exception of the day of the governor’s speech, the assembly met for a total of 15 days. During these 15 days, the Assembly conducted proceedings for 72 hours and 14 minutes. he said.
Mr. Ayyanna Patrudu further informed that 122 starred questions were answered orally and answers were also submitted to the House for 80 starred questions, six unstarred questions and two short notice questions. A total of 18 draft laws were presented and unanimously approved.
In addition, there was one short discussion. In addition, one question under Article 344 and one under Article 74 were discussed in the House. One Government Resolution was also passed unanimously.
Explaining the party strength in the assembly, he said TDP has 135 members, JSP 21 members, YSRCP 11 members and BJP 8 members.
