Protesters gather near the Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad after Friday (March 6, 2026) afternoon prayers to protest the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by US-Israeli forces.
The protest, which was peaceful but closely monitored by the police, was organized by organizations such as Tehreek Muslim Shaban and others and was attended by Shia cleric Taqi Raza Abedi and Congress leader Rashed Khan. People from different sects united to condemn the assassination of Iran’s supreme leader.
