The Kerala Postal Circle has launched an ‘Omana Makal’ reel competition in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
The competition aims to create awareness about the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, a financial security scheme for girls.
A contest on Instagram and Facebook till March 7 with the hashtag #OmanaMakal invites families from across the state to create and share Malayalam reels highlighting the benefits of the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.
The competition is intended for families with children under 10 years of age. Winners will receive digital certificates, cash prizes and recognition on official social media platforms.
