Bollywood actor and producer Sonu Sood is back with another act of kindness. This time, the actor offered to help those stranded in Dubai amid the escalating situation in West Asia due to the US-Israeli-Iran war.
Airstrikes across the Middle East began a sixth day on Thursday after a US submarine sank an Iranian warship and Iran threatened to destroy military and economic infrastructure across the region.
Fighter jets were heard overhead in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday morning.
In the latest tweet, Sood offered safe and free accommodation to travelers in Dubai regardless of nationality – “Just humanity”.
The actor’s latest venture is in collaboration with Dugasta Properties, a Dubai developer for which Sood serves as India’s ambassador.

He asked people who need help to message him on Instagram or contact Dugasta Properties directly.
Conflict in West Asia
The conflict entered its 6th day on Thursday after the US and Israel intensified their bombing of Iran on Wednesday. The pace of strikes against Iran has been so intense that a funeral for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed early in the conflict, has been postponed.
The conflict began on Saturday when the US and Israel launched a war targeting Iran’s leadership, missile arsenal and nuclear program, suggesting the goal was to topple the government.

Admiral Brad Cooper, the top US military commander in the Middle East, said US forces had damaged Iran’s air defenses and knocked out ballistic missiles, launchers and drones.
U.S. and Israeli military officials said launches from Iran were declining as the war progressed. Still, the explosions were heard early Thursday in Israel, which said its defense systems were moving to intercept Iranian missiles.
Iran fired at Bahrain, Kuwait and Israel as the conflict flared. Turkiye said NATO defenses intercepted a ballistic missile fired from Iran before it entered Turkiye airspace.
At least 1,045 people have been killed in Iran, the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation said on Wednesday. 11 people died in Israel. Six American soldiers were killed.
The death toll exceeded 70 in Lebanon, where the health ministry and state news agency reported separate strikes on Wednesday and Thursday.
The conflict has disrupted world oil and gas supplies, snarled international shipping and stranded hundreds of thousands of passengers in the Middle East.

Sonu Sood is rooting for Rajpal Yadav
Sonu Sood actively supported Rajpal Yadav who was jailed in Tihar Jail in check cases which amounted to almost ₹9 million crowns. Yadav was recently released on bail.
Several industry personalities, including Salman Khan, have reportedly come forward and offered financial support to the actor-comedian.
However, during a recent interaction with SCREEN, Yadav responded to Sood’s recent comment about “offering him a job”, saying, “Please get over the misconception that I have to keep asking for work. And there is no shame in asking for work. I live by my work, cinema is my passion and I work so that I have four times more work…”
Sonu also reacted to Yadav’s comment and told HTCity that he was happy for him. “I didn’t say he needed a job. I said ‘Sign him and pay the advances because he deserves it’,” he added.
