T20I batting order
Farhan climbed to the second spot after a historic outing in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. The right-hander became the first cricketer to score two centuries in a single edition of the tournament and brought up his second hundred against Sri Lanka in Pallekele during the final match of the Super 8s for both sides. Abhishek Sharma continues to occupy the No. 1 position and maintains a 26-point cushion over Farhan. The Pakistan batsman is now on 848 rating points after overtaking England’s Phil Salt as he amassed 383 runs during the World Cup to significantly reduce his lead at the top. The end of the Super 8s phase triggered a few more moves in the batting rankings. India’s Ishan Kishan moved up to fourth place with 783 rating points while Tilak Varma moved up to sixth place with 749 points as both cracked the top 10. South African Dewald Brevis also gained a position to settle at eighth place. One of the biggest jumps was enjoyed by Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett who climbed six places to 11th after amassing 292 runs in the competition. South African duo Ryan Rickelton and Aiden Markram also advanced, coming in 13th and 16th respectively.
T20I Bowling Rankings
In the T20I bowling rankings, Indian spinner Varun Chakravarthy remains on top even as his lead has been reduced to just 18 points as the tournament heads into the knockout stages. Chakravarthy has taken 12 wickets so far, but Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed is close as he moved up two places to third overall. Among the other bowlers, India’s Jasprit Bumrah climbed to seventh, while Arshdeep Singh jumped six places to 13th. England’s Liam Dawson jumped nine places to share 14th place and South African paceman Lungi Ngidi moved up six places to 20th. Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza continues to lead the all-rounder rankings. India’s Hardik Pandya is now his nearest challenger after he moved up one place to second, displacing Pakistan’s Saim Ayub. West Indies veteran Jason Holder was another big player, jumping eight places to 11th after a strong World Cup run with both bat and ball.
