The automated traffic monitoring system detected the vehicle exceeding the speed limit and an e-challan was issued under Section 183 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

The Jharkhand State Housing Board recently issued a notice to him for allegedly misusing a residential plot on Harmu Road in Ranchi. Officials believe that the land, which was meant for residential purposes only, could have been used for commercial purposes. The property is where Dhoni once lived before he moved to his current home on Ring Road.Meanwhile, Dhoni’s focus is back on cricket. With IPL 2026 around the corner, he has already started training with Chennai Super Kings. The team is hoping for a turnaround after a disappointing 2025 season where they finished last with 10 losses in 14 games.Dhoni, now 44, was retained under the unrestricted player rule for Rs 4 crore. Although he no longer bats high in the order, he still plays an important role in the final order. There are reports suggesting that he might not play all the matches in the ČSK season this time.Last season he scored 196 runs in 14 matches at a strike rate of 135.17, mostly in quick late innings.
