Chandrapuram Vice President Ponnusami Radhakrishnan and Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot will attend the inauguration of Raja Gopura at Sri Veerabhadreshwar Temple at Yadur near Chikkodi in Belagavi district on Thursday.
Ministers Satish Jarkiholi and SS Mallikarjun will also attend the event, the report said.
Cops are likely to restrict movement on the Chikkodi-Yadur road in the morning.
Officials have appealed to students appearing for SSLC exams to leave home and reach their centers early to avoid traffic jams.
