Nilgiris District Collector Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru and Tamil Nadu Government Chief Whip K Ramachandran inaugurated the Sericulture World Experience Park here on Tuesday.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ramachandran said that the Department of Textiles under the Tamil Nadu government has set up a Sericulture Experience Park in the first phase at a cost of ₹ 75,000 on 5 acres of land at a government seed farm that has long functioned as a silkworm breeding center at Coonoor.
