Leftist parties strongly condemned the “coordinated attack on Iran” by the United States and Israel, saying it reflected the height of imperialist arrogance.
Leaders of ten Left parties including CPI, CPI (M), CPI (ML), CPI ML (Liberation), CPI ML (New Democracy), Revolutionary Socialist Party, Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist), Marxist Communist Party of India (United), Forward Bloc Party staged a protest in Vijayawada on Monday (March 2026).
The attacks on the Iranian people, the killing of the country’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the bombing of schools are a clear violation of all international agreements, they said, appealing to the public to join them in condemning these attacks.
They said the attack on Iran is aimed at extracting natural resources and that governments trying to protect their countries and their people are being violently repressed.
Leftist parties demanded that the Union government immediately issue a statement condemning the attack on Iran. They called on the people of the country to stand with Iran and united against US imperialism.
