Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Political Bureau member Reddeppagari Srinivasa Reddy on Monday (March 2, 2026) officially inaugurated a new road at Sivanandapuram locality in Kadapa city.
The opening ended a 40-year wait for local residents, who had been forced to use a dirt road for decades due to a lack of a proper road.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Srinivasa Reddy said that the road reflects the NDA government’s commitment to development. He said his wife Kadapa MLA Reddeppagari Madhavi played a key role in mobilizing resources for the project.
Authorized representatives of party divisions brought this to the attention of the legislators at the request of local residents. The project with a financial cost of ₹ 30 lakh has been started, he added.
Mr. Srinivasa Reddy recalled that the road was one of the poll promises of the TDP.
