
Flight Status LIVE March 3 Update: Flight operations in the Middle East gradually resumed on Tuesday, March 3, after being affected by the conflict between the US, Israel and Iran for three days. Flight operations have resumed partly in coordination with aviation authorities and airline partners, while widespread cancellations continue in the region, including at Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi airports.
Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central International Airport began limited operations late on Tuesday night, with Emirates and FlyDubai sending their flights to Chennai, Moscow, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Sharm El Sheikh, Warsaw and Belgrade, according to the Dubai airport website.
Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi also resumed partial operations. Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi has also started limited operations.
However, the authorities urged caution. Passengers were advised not to proceed to DXB or DWC unless directly contacted by their airline with a confirmed departure time.

“The situation in the Middle East region continues to be closely monitored to facilitate assistance to passengers. Due to the ongoing situation, 357 flights scheduled to operate today have been cancelled,” the Ministry of Civil Aviation said on March 2.

In a statement released on X, Emirates said: “Emirates will begin operating a limited number of flights from the evening of March 2. Customers with earlier bookings are given priority and those who have been rebooked to travel on these limited flights will be contacted directly by Emirates. Please do not go to the airport until informed. All other flights will remain suspended.”

Indian airlines including Air India and IndiGo are yet to resume operations in the Middle East. However, Air India Express has started accepting bookings to Dubai from March 4.
