NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru for the Mining Innovation Project.
The MoA was signed by Neeraj Kumar, Senior General Manager and Unit Head, Center for Advanced Research and Development (CARD) on behalf of NLCIL and Pikee Priya, Assistant Professor, Department of Materials Engineering, IISC, Bengaluru.
According to a press release, in line with its vision to promote impactful research and development, NLCIL through CARD has initiated structured collaborations with leading academic institutions, leading to the signing of MoAs with IISCs, IITs, NITs and state universities.
The MoA with IISC, Bengaluru represents a significant milestone by addressing the critical requirement of mining through the development of indigenous materials.
