The Khairatabad area police conducted a special midnight mobilization exercise near the Telangana Secretariat to assess and strengthen emergency response preparedness.
The exercise was conducted under the supervision of K. Shilpavalli, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Khairatabad Zone, on the instructions of Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar to enhance preparedness during emergency situations. About 275 personnel ranging from home guards to deputy commissioners of police from all police stations in Khairatabad zone participated in the exercise.
The mock exercise focused on testing how quickly personnel could converge on a designated location during an emergency. Officials said the aim was to ensure rapid field deployment and coordinated action during critical situations.
Speaking on the occasion, DCP Shilpavalli said that public safety remains the primary responsibility of the police and emphasized the importance of prompt mobilization at all times.
