As part of the National Science Day celebrations, NIMHANS is organizing a two-day exhibition at its Convention Center from March 3. National Science Day is celebrated every year to commemorate physicist CV Raman’s discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’, which won India its first Nobel Prize in Science.
The exhibition will feature interactive exhibits, demonstrations, multimedia presentations, quiz competitions and mind games. It will present the scientific and research activities carried out at NIMHANS in the field of mental health and neurosciences.
According to an official release, the event will provide an opportunity for the public to interact with clinicians, scientists, researchers, non-medical staff and students and learn about ongoing work and recent developments. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see and experience a preserved human brain as part of the exhibition.
The event will be open to the public on both days from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Entry is free, edition added.
