Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand said the Ministry of Power is consistently focusing on expanding infrastructure facilities, modernizing systems and enhancing employee welfare to achieve the government’s objective of strengthening institutional capacity and providing efficient and reliable power to consumers.
Addressing senior officers and employees of power companies here on Thursday after laying the foundation stone for the APSEB Engineers Association (APSEBEA) guest house at Vidyut Soudha, Mr. Vijayanand said that the government has taken concrete steps since 2017 to improve the institutional infrastructure in the power department and highlighted the creation of some major facilities, including Vidyut).
The Chief Secretary appreciated the association’s initiative towards capacity building and contributing to knowledge sharing.
