Bengaluru South City Corporation has announced that a total of 50 properties that have not paid property tax will be auctioned at the Bommanahalli Zonal office on Friday.
The company put 30 properties up for auction on February 21, when 13 property owners paid the arrears on the spot and avoided the auction.
The remaining 17 properties and 33 new properties, a total of 50 properties that have defaulted on property tax and failed to pay the same despite repeated notices and opportunities given to them, will be auctioned in a distress sale, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
