Traffic diversions have been announced at the IIIT intersection due to flyover work

Cyberabad Traffic Police has announced diversions at IIIT Junction in view of the ongoing construction of a multi-level flyover and underpass. The restrictions will take effect July 1 and are expected to remain in place for 90 days to facilitate the next phase of construction. The overall project is expected to continue for approximately one year or until completion.

As part of the measure, the stretch from DLF Gate No. 1 to Gachibowli Traffic Police Station will remain closed for three months. The road will be partially reopened in stages depending on construction progress and space availability.

Traffic going from Radisson Hotel towards IIIT Junction via DLF will be allowed only up to DLF Gate No. 1 and will not be allowed beyond this point. Motorists were advised to proceed via Gachibowli Junction, take a right towards Indiranagar and then proceed to IIIT Junction. TCS campus staff using the Non-SEZ (CMC) gate will continue to have access through the regular gate.

Vehicles coming from Lingampally side towards DLF Road will be diverted at Gachibowli Traffic Police Station via IIIT Junction, Gachibowli Junction and Radisson Junction to reach DLF Road.

Cyberabad police said commuters should expect traffic jams in and around IIIT junction during the construction period. Regular commuters, especially IT workers, have been advised to use alternative routes and plan their journey in advance.
