A training aircraft made an emergency landing in a field in Uttar Pradesh’s Kasganj on Monday (June 29, 2026) and the training pilot who was operating the aircraft is said to be safe, according to aviation regulator DGCA.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is investigating the incident.

“The Chetak Aviation Cessna 152 VT-AFB, which was engaged in solo flying at Aligarh, made an emergency landing in a field at Kasganj. According to reports, (the pilot) is safe,” the regulator said in a statement.

Further details are awaited.
