AMMK general secretary TTV Dhinakaran criticized the move. In a post on social media, he said that people voted for TVK and Mr. Vijay for providing good governance and not for “patronage”. He demanded the cancellation of the meeting.
The AIADMK’s IT wing has wondered if the TVK regime is acting as a “proxy” for the Congress government in Karnataka, claiming that the person named belonged to Karnataka and was based outside Bengaluru.
