Through the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) of the Ministry of Women and Child Development in the district of Dr. BR Ambedkar on Wednesday adopted a 15-month-old baby girl by a couple from Kerala.
In an official statement, District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar said a couple from Kerala adopted the toddler as an inmate of Sishu Gruha in Amalapuram. Sishu Gruha Manager M. Vanajakshi, District Child Welfare Officer B. Uma Lakshmi and other officials were present.
