A 45-year-old woman was killed and her 18-year-old daughter and two others injured when two motorcycles collided in Sudimalla village of Yellandu mandal in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Wednesday.
According to sources, the deceased have been identified as Payam Dhanalaxmi (45) and her daughter, Jayasri (18), hailing from Kollapuram village in Yellandu Mandal. They were riding a motorcycle on a file when the accident happened on Wednesday afternoon.
The couple fell off their motorcycle after being hit by another two-wheeler at the Sudimalla stage on the Yellandu-Kothagudem main road. They were crushed on the spot by a passing truck. The motorcycle rider and the boy suffered serious injuries in the accident. They were immediately taken to Yelland Government Hospital.
