BJP and TDP leaders staged a protest against the Congress party for organizing a demonstration during the recently held India Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit – 2026 in Delhi’s Visakhapatnam on Sunday. They condemned that the Youth Congress protest when an international event was held was against the interests of the country.
BJP state president PVN Madhav, TDP AP unit president Palla Srinivasa Rao, BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju and other leaders of both parties took part in the protest.
Addressing the protesters, Mr. Madhav said Youth Congress activists tried to disrupt the global event, which was attended by more than 2.5 million observers, 600 start-ups, 3,250 experts and representatives from 13 countries. The Congress protest at the event inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unwarranted and the international event has become a platform for political showdown, he claimed.
Mr. Madhav said the protest at the summit, where representatives of 88 companies signed the New Delhi Declaration, had given the country immense disrepute. He asked the Congress not to spoil the country by holding protests on international platforms.
