Revenue Minister K. Rajan on Saturday (February 21) practically launched the construction of five smart village offices in Kozhikode district.
Foundation stone was laid for smart village offices at Puthuppadi, Kedavoor, Kavilumpara, Kuruvattur and Peruvayal.
The initiative is part of a project aimed at improving the physical infrastructure of municipal authorities. Each office building equipped with modern facilities will be constructed at a cost of ₹ 50 lakhs to ensure better delivery of public services.
