Y. Selvin, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Thiruvanathapuram Division
Y. Selvin, IRTS, has taken charge as Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) of Thiruvananthapuram Railway Division, replacing Viji MR, IRAS.
A 2008 batch senior officer of the Indian Railway Transport Services (IRTS), Mr. Selvin brings with him rich and varied experience in both the operational and commercial parts of Indian Railways. Prior to his posting as ADRM, he served as Senior Divisional Sales Manager, Thiruvananthapuram Division. Earlier, he held key positions as Senior Divisional Operations Manager in Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad and Chennai Divisions and contributed significantly to operational efficiency, operational management and business performance.
He was the recipient of several awards including the Railway Board Award and the General Manager’s Award in recognition of his meritorious services. Mr. Selvin has also undergone specialized and advanced training programs, including training on high-speed train systems in China.
