A Special Revenue Officer has been appointed for Tiruchi district to resolve the issues of registration of pattas issued under the Tamil Nadu Minor Inams (Cancellation and Conversion to Ryotwari) Act, 1963.
After receiving representations from the public regarding the problems with the registration of ryotwari pattas, Chief Minister MK Stalin ordered the creation of the posts of two special DROs to conduct an inquiry and resolve the issue.
Accordingly, these two places were created in Tiruchi and Tiruppur districts. R. Ramesh has been appointed as Special DRO (verification of records) for Tiruchi district, while A. Mayil has been appointed to the post for Tiruppur district, according to an official press release.
