The Rajasthan State Sports Council (RSSC) had earlier downplayed many of these concerns, deeming them trivial and solvable through routine maintenance. The chief minister’s intervention appears to have helped break the deadlock, with the government showing its resolve to address Royals’ concerns while ensuring the IPL remains in the state. The RSSC has now started work to repair and upgrade the stadium to meet the required standards for hosting matches.
