PR and RD Minister Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka) released the book ‘People’s Goddess’ at the Medaram Jatara on Friday. The book is published by Kakatiya Heritage Trust.
Among the participants were noted filmmaker B. Narsing Rao, who compiled a book of rare photographs, and members of the Trust – retired IAS officers BP Acharya and BV Papa Rao, former NIT professor Panduranga Rao and K. Sridhar and former DGP M. Ratan.
Ms. Seethakka called for the necessary motion to recognize the Samakka Saralamma Jatara as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
